The "Official" Pop'n Music Thread

OMG, I think I'm going to go broke here. I just bought a IIDX arcade style controller a couple of days ago and just now I bought a Pop'n arcade style controller!!! and I don't even have any Pop'n games, yet!!!!

Well here's the music list for Pop'n 7, but many of the songs titles are in japanese.

A big turnoff of pop'n for me is the way that the songs are referred to by their genres, and songs are selected by choosing a character... that always struck me as weird. The whole interface looks cumbersome.

Sigh... Pop'N Music...

It has 9 keys! I can't even read the damned screen... Seems like the female players (Who make up the majority of the players) here are muchmuch better than me when it comes to screen reading... I think I'll just stick to Dm... *SoB*

The characters relate so much to the music, you should just go by them. Also, in Pop'n 6 and on the songs have banners usually in complete English.

Does anyone have the Pop'n Music ArcadeStyle Controller? They look awesome! I have the money and was thinking about getting one, wanted to know what other people thought. For anyone that has one, how do you like it?
Other questions: they look arcade perfect, are they? The buttons and positioning just like the arcade?
And, other then Himeya, is there anywhere else to get one from?

If that PnM controller isn't too expensive/complicated to make, I would probably build it and buy a pop'n music game...
