I was watching my portable TV at around 12:45AM last night. I tuned into a channel and on it, there was an orchestra playing some classical tunes. I wasn't sure what channel it was, but it was around 20-30 on my UHF band (reminder: I live in 408). I heard Winter (which V was remixed from), but only for a short while. |

The Max2 machine is right next to the 5th mix machine, they took my name down just incase I was recorded. |
Were they filming this dude in a superman costume? if so, maybe it's that video we've been seeing lately at the arcade. _________________

I also heard a part of spin the disk in the eclipse flash strips commercial. |
You do realize that 'There You'll Be' isn't a song that was created for DDR right? It was a song done by Faith Hill.
Also I hate seeing people say they heard 'Stomp to my Beat; in so-and-so. Again this song was NOT, NOT created for DDR, it was a song that was done in like 1996 by JS-16.
Oh yeah and the song in the Flash Strips commerical isn't 'Spin the Disc', but reather 'Jam and Marmalade' from DDR MAX USA. _________________

The new one has Jam and Marmalade. there are 3 versions of the commerical i have heard, one with Spin the disk, one with Overblast and the new one with J.A.M. _________________

I dont know if anyome mentioned this, but a few days ago, CN8 did a news report on DDR in the northeast, and they really did a nice job at making it look cool('cept for that guy that was hugging the bar with his mouth hanging open). Nice work, Comcast. _________________

That was NOT "A". That was "Winter" from Pump It Up.
@@; A glimpse of DDR, on my local News Channel 3, I saw. _________________

I was watching a french movie called "Wasabi" about a french cop with a past in Japan. Anyways his daughter takes him to an arcade where all of her friends are hangin around a 5th mix machine. After introductions the friends play ddr. Then invite the cop the play natrually he does horrible. They played like 3/4 of the song Dive. But I think that's just somthing the ddr community would like to know. _________________

saw a good 10 minute segment on a show called "Pulse" on the G4 channel. showed a guy going by name "JP Money" getting ready for the Cyberbeat Nation contest. showed him practicing in his room, freestyling to the music and looking at printed dance step charts (which looks kinda weird in a way). also, playing DDR Extreme and seeing his friends playing Beatmania: The Final. next week, their gonna show how he well he performed in the contest.
and several years ago, i saw a filipino show from california on the International Channel, sporting a segment on a known DDRer by the good old name "DJ 8-Ball", i thought it was him when the guy said "my favorite move to do is the people's elbow" and later performed the move on BB$.
i wonder if DJ 8-Ball even remembered or even did a segment on that at all, i hope he can answer this to confirm it.
maybe he can go on G4tv.com and talk about what DDR is really all about. who knows. laters.... |

I was watching a special on the Travel Channel on Las Vegas funspots on Tuesday night. While showing the inside of the Circus Circus amusement park, a DDR cabinet was shown in the corner for about 5 seconds. I couldn't tell what mix it was.
About this Spin The Disc, isn't it a remix of another song? It sounded very familiar the first time I heard it. _________________
