I didn't see it, I heard it. At Red Robin. I heard Look At Us Now.
Now before I get flamed about how a lot of songs have been remade for DDR, I was suprised, cause I hadn't heard Look At Us Now anywhere except Max2 and MaxUSA.

You have to understand that there is no hope in hell of a new US available arcade version.

I saw that too! my brother watches it, I swear he's gay... laugh.gif Anyways, I thought it was hilarious, especially when he's all like "now watch me bust a move" or something really stupid like that. I didn't understand it, but I was just sitting upstairs eating when my brother screams out "OMG IT'S DDR ON YU-GI-OH!!!!!" so I ran downstairs and saw it and laughed my buttocks off...
yup...

LOL! I was laffin my @$$ off badly as well! Well, I was dead asleep at the tiem, but sum1 woke me up badly, sayin it was on Yu-Gi-Oh and when I saw a battle between a guy and a girl (dunno the names, since I don't keep track), my first reaction was:

"O hell no! I know DDR and Yu-Gi-Oh are made by the same company, Konami, but I would NOT imagine DDR or EZ2Dancer being on the actual cartoon!"

I know it's just a cartoon ONLY made for it's own type (Dueling), but the next thing you know, the Yu-Gi-Oh scriptwriters ends up adding Beatmania, GuitarFreaks, ParaParaParadise, KeyBoardMania, or any Konami/Bemani games to the show. Even funnier, adding the actual music from the games like Max300, and characters like Emi and Alice to the cartoon.

By the way, that wasn't really exactly DDR, cuz of the 8 arrow directions and handwaves (looks more like EZ2Dancer).

The first time I saw DDR was in a comic convention.I remember I asked to myself: "What are those people doing? Jumping and stepping on a pad?" "It looks fun" drool.gif And since that day I fell in love with DDR.

Not a flame, but an informative message, or something:

Look At Us (Daddy DJ remix) is a relatively popular club song that was licensed for DDR, so it's not technically a DDR song.

Only Konami Originals (Written by Naoki or one of the other Konami composers) would really count as hearing Bemani music.

DDR was on my local action news station the other day. They were doing a report on DDR in schools, there was this private school with like 10 MyMyBox pads hooked up to PS2 and they had all the American Mixes. It showed all these kids playin DDR, and the so called popular kids were rofl in the background, there really wasnt anybody good, but this one girl said she lost 15 pounds in a few weeks.

Though thats prolly just water weight, the result do show, DDR *IS* good exercise, and if you have gym like 1st period, it makes you very alert for the rest of the day.

Oh... and I saw ddr a newspaper article at school, which is strange, because only 30 people really know what ddr is let alone what it stands for.

Hehe. The same thing happened here in my area, where local news showed footage of DDR as being part of an excercise news report. The funniest thing was that I was on TV playin. LOL!

I heard Lupin the 3rd last night while watching, you guessed it, Lupin the Third on Cartoon Network. I prefer the DDR version of the song over the orignal theme song. E1.gif

I heard part of Spin the Disc in a mint commercial. It was the end with the woman singing with the stutter effect. Just that part, no other parts from the song.

Anyone else see it?
