ya know..the show...on fox. .With Bill Bellamy. Saw the main two playing DDR 5th mix. Leave it to mainstream to be behind the times.

I completely missed this thread, largely because I look at DDR Chit-Chat about twice a month, if that, and I was looking specificlally for Fastlane references. Yep, it was 5th, and yep, AM-3P was playing. _________________

They made FAC look so cool. Looks almost like a Hollywood hot spot. The DDR machine was actually moved to a different spot to accomadate the taping. the "bar" that they were in is where both the 5th and 7th mix are originally located.
I've seen Fast Lane shot all over Los Angeles, they are a busy TV crew. Kinda hoping this would give FAC more visibility... no one goes there and its so cheap to play DDR. |

Hmm... they were playing Dub-I-Dub so that they would look more like dancing (it's all onbeat, and there's those jump sequences that look cool) but they played the AM-3P music because it's more generic-sounding (a lot of people would think Dub-I-Dub sounds lame, while AM-3P is a song that virtually everyone can get into).
Seems like a good choice on their part to me. _________________

I didn't get to see it, I saw someone said that it was dub-i-dub. Was it basic? Or were they actually good at the game? |

No, it was on basic. They were supposed to be acting immature by playing it at Chinatown and they weren't half bad. I think it was Dub-I-Dub, Alice and Johnny were teh characters and they were freestyling. That's all it is in a nutshell. _________________
