Just the other night I went to Boston pizza up here in Calgary (Macleod Trail sorta by Southland Dr) and I decided to play a few songs on the jukebox and was looking through the random crap mixes for something interesting when I saw "Dub I Dub"...and it was even by Me & My! It wasn't exactly the same as the short game version of course, but reasonably similar. (I also proceeded to realize that 3 of the other songs I picked almost in a row were on DDR or EZ2Dancer.. <Tubthumping, Livin' La Vida Loca, Mambo #5> Strange...) _________________

DDR was on Travel Channel last night. It was the San Francisco version of Great Hotels and they stopped at the Metreon where the host attempted a game. _________________

I'm going to bring a DDR Mix CD to the next dance. Maybe we'll have some real dance music, rather than music about "f**king hos, smokin' weed, and shootin' ni**as". (Yes, that is what rap is) _________________

I just saw it on Perfect Partners (a UK dating show) on the Discovery channel! The couple on the date were at a bowling alley, in Leicester I think, (so that would make it EuroMIX) and they were trying to play. _________________

I saw it on E! - Wild on Japan
They had a whole row of 3rd mixes (yes it was an old show)
Juels Asner was still the host and she interviewed a caucasion female rep for KOJ. They were talking about the popularity of Bemani and showed a few guys playing on some of the machines. Juels decided to give it a try and as most newbs do failed her first song......
I just thot that it was cool to see DDR featured on E! as one of the "hot" things to do in Japan.

School newspaper... it was in SCHOOL NEWSPAPER, how wicked could that be, there are less than 10% of the school population who knows DDR and even less who plays, though it was quoted from the newspaper that some people play it because it causes a seizure |

Yea DDR can cause a seizure or 2, ya know with all the flashy colors and lights. If its a really dark place and all you have are the flashing arrows on the screen it could cause a problem. That is if your a weak person
Just last week the lights (and all the games but mine) went out and in the pitch black arcade all you could see was me dancing on a DDR machine. It was like that for maybe 30 seconds and then DDR cut off too. It was kinda cool.
Oh yea um, topic............I saw DDR in a public restroom on the side of a urinal _________________

I didn't hear it, but my girlfriend said that at Grams Central Station, they played Stomp to my Beat like every night. Also saw an artical on the TechTV website about how addictive DDR is. _________________

there used to be an old Muchmusic Ad that had quite a few clips of DDR in it. It was someone playing on the 2 player side and Janet was the dancer (in the black & White outfit)
its pretty old, i think it was a usa mix machine _________________

I saw it in the 2002 High School Yearbook...if you have a yearbook published by Josten's, you might have a color insert in the back, a "year in review" kind of thing (every school gets the same one.) There's a picture of some people playing a home version of DDR. |

Guess where I saw DDR...
THE NEW YORK TIMES F**KING MAGAZINE!!!!!!
A while ago, they had the '100 best new ideas' issue, or something, and among these 'new ideas' was DDR! There was a short article about 'the video game workout,' along w/ a couple pics of the writer playing...but it looked like he was just standing on the pad... _________________
