Danger
I highly recommend not to buy the EMS adapter, it worked for the first couple days, playin it a little bit, but now it barely works, i can pass every maniac in ddr, and i cant pass anything now, it lags very very badly it takes more than a second for arrows to register. Its not my pad either, i thought my pad was broken, bought a new one, same thing happened. Im gonna try and send it back but i dont even know what the return policy is. Damnit!!!! I need an adapter that works!!!!
Sorry for u that already ordered one, maybe i got a defective one, but who knows?? _________________

You must either have a defective one, or some sort of wierd configuration on your pc. Mine works flawlessly, and has for about a week. Where did you order it from?
On another note i would like to state for the record that the EMS USB2 DOES work with DDRPC. This has been confirmed by me personnally. So to hell with the kiki joys... _________________

ǵõrèÑèrõ is the italian meaning of BlackHeart... |
So that's what it means!!... Cool beans
Sorry, I don't know a European site for these adapters... but if there are websites that sell modchips or stuff like that, you should take a look.

Oh my. Well, for the record, I experience some lag too, but yeah, maybe it's because you leave it plugged in too long. It might need to be unplugged every time you don't use it.
Guys, it's okay for him to voice his opinion. He's just giving his side of the story... hopefully, it STAYS on his side of the story... (just playin', b4evermackin..)
GREAT NEWS!! For all those multi-system gamers out there... there is yet ANOTHER ADAPTER that works!! It uses a Playstation, PS2, PSOne, Dreamcast, or Saturn controller with the PC (only one controller at a time). It's called "PC Magic Box"... I was actually about to buy this adapter before the EMS one. The URL is:
http://www.levelsix.com/products/pc/PCMagicBox.shtml
Everyone needs to thank ZeroMage (that's just his email name) for making the world a spiffier place. He has bought the adapter, and he can truthfully say that IT WORKS! W00t! _________________

|
|
I have been using the parallel port single player adapter from BNS that came with my BNS pad (pad died fairly quickly I might add). Ordered the Kiki-Joy along with DDR PC but as everyone knows it doesn't work.
Anyways I went to the local EB and picked up a generic 4 player adapter
and both pads work fine. (all four ports register)
DDR PC, DWI, Stepmania 1.64, Stepmania MAX all work great this
way, doubles and freeze arrows. As far as drivers I use the ones from

I've just bought a DDR dance mat on gocybershopgo.ca and it came with a "gamewave" psx-pc parralel port adapter but no drivers. On the adapter's box it said to download drivers at i.am/gamewave, but the site doesn't exist.
Does anyone knows of this adapter/drivers ?
Could I just use other drivers or should I buy a proper adapter ?
Thanks in advance |

I finally got my Boom PSX+N64 adapter today. WindowsXP wont let me install any of its drivers. Whenever I plug it in, it installs USB and HID drivers, it wont let me change or update them. Can someone help me out? AIM=Phrost522 |

It wont let me update the drivers. I think because they're older than the ones Windows assigns them. Whoever said they got Lik-Sang's Boom adapter to work with WinXP please contact me. This fkin sucks. |

Do these adaptors work for DWI, Step Mania, & DDR PC???
http://www.redoctane.com/psjoyconusb.html
Does anyone have these?
The specs on my computers are
The computer in my room:
AMD Athlon XP 2000
256 MB RAM DDR
60 GIG HD
GeForce 4 Ti 4200
With Windows XP Pro
My Downstairs Computer:
Intel Celeron 800 MHZ Overclocked to 1136 MHZ
512 MB RAM
20 GIG HD
GeForce 4 MX 420
With Windows 98 SE
Can you also give me a suggestion of another 100% working no lag PSX USB adaptor that works for WIN 98, WIN ME, WIN 2k , and Win XP.
Thanks for your help
EDIT: Oh and do the redoctane USB adaptors work for doubles if you buy 2 of them?
Maybe it might be better to get a Adaptor with 2 ports. |

Anybody tried EMS converter on Win 2000? I'm probably gonna snag one, beacsue there's no reason for it not to work, but it would be nice if I had confirmation from someone that it did actually work for. Late! _________________
