Hey, join the club ma man. I'm about 6' or so, and around 135lbs, 16 yrs old.
Also, weight doesn't matter as much as you'd think in this game...I know a few people way heavier than me that are better than me. And not like, newbie-better, catas/long oni courses sort of stuff. |

Ah! Crud!! Am I the *oldest* person on this board?? Someone, get my cane QUICK!!
23 years old, 5'10" and around 150#...
(actually, I think someone said they were 26, so I don't feel all that bad...) Geez- these kids makin' me feel old...
Anyway, as a DDR newbie, I think the coolest thing about this game is how getting so many young people up and moving... making exercise FUN. For once, playing video games is making you **healthier**... who woulda thought that would ever happen???
And as for all of you guys who are saying you're "fat" or questioning your weight... please, don't let yourself get so hung up on stupid stuff like that. As a person who has recovered from an eating disorder herself, I can tell you that we all pay WAY too much attention on what the d*mn numbers on the scale say, and not enough attention to how we FEEL about OURSELVES. Forget what you weigh, and look at what you can do... (man, anyone who can pass 8-foot maniac songs is cool by me no matter what the scale says...)
Just keep on playin' DDR and forget about the numbers... if it makes you feel good, DO IT! Rock on... this old-timer is outta here |
