Hey riptide, you should look at Matrix's contact design. Circusfreak pretty much summed it up and it works perfectly. I used superglue instead of tape.

Yeah, soldering will hold better, but electric tape is quicker and easier. Wear gloves with the electric tape, it has chemicals in it that can cause issues.

You can just use tape to hold the wire ...
