If I'm no mistaken, the sheet metal "mod" is just a matter of taking the foil off and replacing it with a steel sheet. (you can get an 8" x 5' roll and some snips at home depot) You can use epoxy or ... |

my only beef with the cobalt flux or metal pads in general is the fact that you can't really play barefoot with them. i hate making stomping noises |

haha. my previous two pads were TX-1000's from Ebay. I plan on sheet metal modding one of them and soldering the other , because they are both broken (my fault i think).

I bought a used CF locally (shipping to Can is horrible, so no new) and it worked for a few months before the control box died. It worked pretty good under Xbox as well with the Inex adapter.
