microswitches sound like a good idea, but how would your panel return to its original position? Would the springs in the switches be able to push it back up? |

Isn't the regular price for those $10 a piece? And even if you could buy them in smaller amounts, that's still $240 (4 per button, 4 buttons, $15 each). Rip Off.

I'm looking to copy your sensor design... could you tell me how far away from the square's edge the screws are located? And maybe what type of screws you used?
