| well... access violation's not gonna help at all
you have to post up crashinfo.txt and info.txt if you can they're all in the stepmania folder |

ANY releases support themes, just sometimes there could be errors sometimes, you have to convert 3.0 themes to 4.0 format to make them work also, you download the theme (.smzip file), and you ... |

took about 30 minutes to compile it work about as good as running: stepmania windows version 640 res 32 bit texture 2048 max texture on a 466 celeron 128 mb 4 mb video ... |
