I thought about that, but the problem is that I'm using a soft pad... it's an Ignition 2.0

I'm not really comfortable tearing the thing open and wiring up extra crap to it if it's working perfectly ...

if the device doesn't show up to the computer, all the drivers in the world aren't going to fix it.

well, it isn't exactly rocket science to make an xbox adapter.. take one of the breakaway ends off a dead controller (or buy a spare breakaway for $5), chop off the end, and wire it into a USB cable. ...

I've actually seen aftermarket xbox controllers with EL wire ran around the inside of it. That stuff has a fairly low power drain... hmm.. I think I just got an idea E4.gif

hmm.. what about using microswitches to mimmick the action of the custom switches? I'm not sure how well they'd hold up to the stress though.

yeah, it's for the xbox live headset. Mine didn't fit though, I had to shave the rubber off one side to get it to plug in all the way. Just a heads up.

why not spray some sort of clear coat over it? a couple layers of polyurethane should keep it shiney.
