The black corner panels are supposed to replace the lexan. The clear one goes under the existing center panel.

Cobaalt Flux does have an Arcade Mod Kit available for $25 US (shipping extra, and if ordered at the same time as the pad, it comes pre-installed). This can be found under the accessories category.

It is not a Konami Metal pad, as those have X and O as the X and O buttons. Also the arrows on those are blue and pink.

The plastic covering is only for protection during shipping. It can be removed, and is easier to remove before much play. Most, if not all metal pads come with this covering.
